Frozen In Time

I hope this theme doesn't scare too many of you from participating.
I have pondered what kind of photo to use.
Here is what I came up with:

In Quakertown PA is an Vintage Five and Dime store,
and soda fountain still operating today.
It feels like you go back in time when you walk in.

  5. I love the way you captured this - it calls to mind memories of American Graffiti - ice cream sodas and poodle skirts!

  7. I don't know which catches my eye more...the stools or the floor....just a great combination...and perfectly matches the theme...I used to have vanilla cokes and a milky way bar in a drugstore with a similar decor when I was a teenager.

  8. Reminds me of wearing patent leather Mary-Janes and spinning myself around on such a stool, using the counter wall to push off from as my feet were a long way away from the wonderfully tiled floor. Wonderfully nostalgic picture; perfect in black and white.
